Gone Junkin': Our annual Peaches to Beaches trip

We had another great year shopping our favorite section of the 200 mile annual yard sale known as Peaches to the Beaches along Hwy 341 here in Georgia.

One of the first items I purchased this year was this beautiful, vintage dental cabinet. I think it was the same one I saw the previous year, but the price was much higher. Well, it was right within my budget this year, so I snagged it right away!

I found the dental cabinet in Haynesville, Ga., one of my favorite places to shop each year. They have the best farmhouse and vintage items to choose from!

The yard sale lasts for two days. Luckily, where we live is located in the middle of our favorite shopping areas, so we go in one direction one day and the other the second day.

In one town along Hwy 341, this old house is always open for shoppers. It's full of items, but most are either over-priced or picked through already.  But for some reason, I always feel the need to walk through it. We had a friend with us this year that's never been, so I definitely wanted her to see it.

Sometimes we run across new places we've never been. The next couple of pictures are of an old building that is being renovated. They were selling architectural pieces from it and other items to raise funds to help them turn this beautiful old building into a restaurant. I can't wait to see it when they're done!

And of course, you always run across chickens somewhere along the yard sale path.

I have a fascination with vintage artwork. These pieces were so pretty. Especially on the walls of this old store front. So pretty!

I found another chicken feeder and this cute farmhouse style BAKERY sign.

I also scored a couple of architectural pieces, a coffee grinder, white vintage saucers, and a couple of old shot glasses for our daily apple cider vinegar shots.

And of course this beautiful dental cabinet that I put in my kitchen.

My favorite purchase was these pretty matching night stands. I've already redone them for our master.  Can you believe I paid only $25.00 for the both of them?! 😲

I'll soon be putting up a post of what these night stands look like now as well as some other small projects I've done since the first of the year.

Now I just have to count down the days until we get to go junkin' again!
