Looking for God in everyday life

I was looking through photos on my computer this morning and came across some I took of my niece, Natalie last summer.  She had fun running around in my yard that day with fairy wings on and I had fun trying to capture it.

Looking at these photos reminded me of the curiosity and wonder in a child's eyes as they explore the world around them.  It also reminded me of how it's always been the "little things" in this life that mean the most to me.

I used to refer to it as "looking for God in everyday life" and I was intentional in my looking.  I would try to find one simple thing every day that reflected God's goodness and it would help me keep things in perspective no matter what I was going through.

With that in mind, I have decided that I need to be more intentional about that even now, and I have decided to use my love of Instagram to document it.  Beginning May 1st, I'll be making an effort to post one picture each day throughout the month to share what God is showing me.  I'd love for you to follow along and look for God in your everyday life as well.  Look for me @lynnlangford and let's use the hashtag #lookingforGodineverydaylife and be reminded of all the blessings God has given us.
