31 Days of Learning to Work from Home {Day 1}

For the next 31 days, (every day in October), I will be writing and sharing my thoughts about learning to work from home.

The timing of this series could not be more appropriate because I'm starting a new job today....one that will for the most part allow me to work from home.  I shared the news of my new job here.

I believe that the flexibility of this job will allow me the ability to be more efficient in all areas of my life.  But to be efficient in many areas, it's a necessity to be extremely organized.

Now, I have to admit that I consider myself pretty well organized already, but I feel the need to become more organized and more efficient with my time.  Like most women, I have many responsibilities, not just those associated with my vocational job.  I'm a wife, mom, writer, blogger, Christian Counselor and general multi-tasker always working on By participating in this 31 Day Writing Challenge, I hope to do just that and to share what I learn along the way.

So I hope you'll join me each day along this journey.  Welcome to "31 Days of Learning to Work from Home"!

This is day one.

This looks good! I'm so excited to hear how things go for you! I think working from home is awesome - just difficult to balance at times:)

Congratulations on your new job! I hope you thrive. I've worked from home since about 2010, and for the most part, it's been wonderful. Occasionally it's a pain, like when friends get annoyed that I can't just go do things during the day. Yes, I work from home, but I still work. ;)

Laurie,

Yes....I'm already learning it can be difficult to balance. I think I'll do better once everything is in place and I'm through with job training.

Thanks for stopping by!

Lucien,

Thanks so much :)

Yes...people think when you are home you have time to do anything and everything. Sometimes we just have to say no to a few things.

Thanks for stopping by!
