the beauty of social media

Well, I've gone and done it after alot of thinking.  I created a separate Facebook page for Whispers from Wildwood.  I've had my own personal page for years!  We jumped on board the "social media band wagon" when my baby sister and her family moved out of state.....and we have thoroughly enjoyed it!

Because of facebooking, tweeting, and blogging, we still feel like our families are very connected in each other's lives.  It's not like long ago when you saw someone after being separated for long periods of time and had a hard time trying to remember everything you wanted them to know.  Thank goodness!

Social media can have its down side too, though.  Especially when you consider how addictive it can be for some.  The way I see it, it's a matter of prioritizing.  No one can deny it's power to communicate with multitudes!

I've got alot going on in my life right now and I want to be able to share more easily some of those things with my readers....like my first children's book to be released by this fall!

So if you are also on "the book" as we endearingly call it, I'd love it if you'd hit me up with a like!
