in memory

I started this post last week but never got around to completing it.

Last Sunday made six years ago that I lost my daddy to pancreatic cancer.

I've never in my life seen someone suffer so much physical pain!

I pray that we are making strides in research to not only detect pancreatic cancer early on, but to completely eradicate it from our lives.  No one should have to live in that kind of pain.....NO ONE.

He's not suffering anymore, though.

I can't wait to see him again when I get to heaven!  I know I should say that Jesus is the first person I want to see, but the human side of me thinks first of my earthly father.  He was a good man who cared for his family. I'm so thankful for his love and influence on my life.

I miss you, Daddy.
