remembering your vet & groomer

If you love your vet and groomer as much as we do, you will want to remember them with a little something special this Christmas.  I had been on the look-out for some "doggie" Christmas ornaments this year and I lucked up at the Black Friday sale at Kohl's!

I found these three coordinating ornaments and thought they'd be perfect.....and three's the exact number I needed.

I boxed each one up individually in Christmas gift boxes and tagged them for Lucy's 2 vets and her groomer.

I also decided to bake cookies for the entire office staff.  One day while browsing the cake decorating isle at Walmart, I spied some cute little cookie cutters: dogs, bones, and paws.

Knowing Lucy had a grooming appointment coming up, I ran by the store the other day and picked up a roll of peanut butter cookie dough.  I went home and got right to work on these special treats.  It didn't take long at all to roll it out and cut out 3 dozen of the shapes to bake.

I packed them in a pretty Christmas tin and delivered them when I dropped Lucy off the next morning on my way to work.

When I picked her up that afternoon, they were all so very appreciative for the kind gesture.  They even had a gift bag for her with all sorts of special treats and goodies :)

Here's wishing you and your furry little children
a very Merry Christmas!
