a tribute to "fall" and Patriot football!

I don't know what I like more about the fall season - the beautiful warm colors of fall or the fact that it's football season!  Either way, I'm celebrating both in my home.

The mantel in the living room...

I love my new owl I found at Flint River Pottery!
He's made of burlap....so cute for fall :)

Scott made our mantel out of a log.  It's perfect for our rock fireplace and it is one of my favorite things about our home.

I always decorate this table in our foyer for the current season...

Look at this cute little furry owl in the pic below!  I purchased him at the Pottery also.  The centerpiece for this table is a mixture of pumpkins spread out on a beautiful fall platter.  I added fall colored leaves for a little extra pop of color.

Ceramic pumpkins and a fall plate fill in the rest of the space....

This is an easy fall centerpiece for the breakfast room.
I filled my glass hurricane with fall colored potpourri and then added fall flowers and twigs.

a little more fall color in the corner of the bar area....

My mother-in-law gave me this cute ceramic pumpkins house....complete with little mice trick-or-treaters and a ghost in the well :)

Sparkly pumpkins are the rage this season!  So I had to have a few :)

I moved my football themed tablescape items into my pie safe and then added a few extra things.

Scott received this award last season for his volunteer work with the team.  It meant so much to him!  We love those Boys in Blue!!!  I put it in plain view on top of the cabinet.

In one of my kitchen cabinets, I found a football plate Dillan made for me a long time ago in a pottery class.  See it on the second shelf?  Then I swiped Austin's football piggy bank for the bottom shelf....lol!

Here's the front of the house.  Pretty simple, but I think it's just enough.

I bought this little gal a few days ago at Walmart.  The other one got lonely last year :)  My 3 year old ferns bit the dust finally, so I bought these grass plants to add some greenery to the front of the house.  They should be pretty easy to keep up.

This girl's chillin out next to the rocker.  The terracota pumpkin also came from the Pottery YEARS ago!

A simple fall wreath on the door..with another little scarecrow, completes the look for fall.

So we are all ready for the fall season!  I'm looking forward to the cooler temps and watching more Patriot football!
Happy Fall, Y'all!!!

Of COURSE it has to be football on top!!!!!! Football rules! :-) I'm glad to see another tablescaping blogger out here who is into football! It goes hand-in-hand with fall, and you can hardly think of one without thinking of the other. (Of course, I'm a Kansas City, MO native, so I'm all about the Chiefs...pitiful as they may be!) You have lots of nice seasonal touches all around that I'm sure makes your family feel comfy, cozy and loved. Enjoy!!!
