How does your garden grow?

I've mentioned to y'all a couple of times about our little garden, so I thought I'd supply some updated photos.  Thankfully, we have been getting plenty of rain showers, so Scott has not had the aggravation of having to constantly water it.

Our squash started blooming recently and we got our first little squash yesterday:)

There are also lots of little green tomatoes.....some of those won't have a chance to mature cause I'm craving some more Fried Green Tomatoes!

My watermelon plants have done well too, but we noticed the other day that our gopher turtle was back and he got a hold of one!

I hear they are an endangered species, but if he comes back after my watermelons again, he will definitely be in danger!

There are also some pepper plants.....I think this is one?

As you can tell, I'm not much of a gardener myself since I sometimes forget which plant is which (until I see the fruit or vegetable!), but I do love eating what comes out of one!

You don't have to have a big area to plant a garden.  Clearly, you can see that this is a small one.  Even if you live in the city, you can have container gardens.  Porches and patios make great places for such and it's so gratifying to have fresh produce available right at your fingertips.

So tell me...how does your garden grown?  What have you planted this year?
