Tabletop Tuesday!

I'm sharing my table decor from the Acteens social (see that post here)

Be sure to check out these blogs for some great inspiration for your tablescapes!

I got the idea for the centerpieces from Pinterest...imagine that!

First, I cut out red and pink hearts of different sizes from construction paper.  I gathered up a few plum tree branches and put them inside of old Starbucks Frap jars loaded with candy hearts.  I used a single hole-punch to make tiny holes at the top of the hearts.  Then I tied the hearts on to the branches with pink thread.  I had plenty of ribbon on hand, so I also tied a sweet little bow on the top of the jars.  Paper and foam hearts were then scattered on the table around the centerpiece.

Since we were having homeade pizza that night, I didn't feel the need for china, so I purchased paper plates, napkins, and cups in keeping with the Valentine's theme....and that was it!

Super easy and so inexpensive!

Lynn, I love the valentine centerpiece. I wish I had seen it earlier. I was struggling what to do with my empty glass hurricane vases. Thanks for sharing!
