Bring On the SNOW!

I have thoroughly enjoyed the last few weeks!  The Christmas holidays were great and being off work the entire week after Christmas was the bomb!  I've also been out of school too, so I've had plenty of free time to blog (as I'm sure you could tell by the major increase in my posts ;))  I've had time to reorganize lots of things at home and finish up a few DIY projects.  But this sweet time of freedom is quickly coming to an end :(

I've also had plenty of time for afternoon naps with Miss Lucy :)

Spring semester starts back next week, so I'll be hitting the books again.  I will also start my internship, which I'm very excited about!  But I'm sure going to miss the free time.  It gets difficult sometimes trying to balance family, work, school, and church, but I'm up for the challenge.  This will be my last semester of school and I will have my psychology degree and specialization in Christian counseling completed.  It's almost hard for me to believe!

I can't think of a better way to spend my last long weekend of freedom than to go to the mountains!  Y'all know how much I love the mountains any time of year, but this time, we're going snow skiing!!!  Well, they are....I'm not going to risk messing up my $80,000 back surgery.  I think I'll just enjoy making snow angels & snowmen/women and drink plenty of good coffee :)

Scott's been out of town working this week and I haven't seen him since Monday, so it'll be great spending a fun weekend with him and the boys.  We're actually going with a group from our church, so I'm looking forward to the great speakers/worship bands we will also hear Sat and Sun evening.

I'll take plenty of pictures and I look forward to telling you all about it.  They say it's going to be in the teens up there this weekend!  And I've never seen the amount of snow that is required for skiing, so this should prove to be alot of fun!

Say a prayer for our safe travels.......peace out.
