122nd Homecoming Celebration

Sunday, June 27th our church celebrated its 122nd Homecoming Service! If walls could talk, just imagine what they've seen and heard in those 122 years....and the changes! We had a great service and a house full....and plenty of good food for lunch. You know how Southern women love to cook! I actually tried a new desert recipe. I made the Chocolate Chip Pound cake recipe I got from the blog, Kelly's Korner. It was a hit!
My son, Dillan had his camera handy and snapped a shot of the Praise Team, minus our keyboard player. Afterward, he took some more of me to use for some other things, so I thought I'd post a couple of them. He's just starting his own photography business and he's already so good. I can't wait to see how much he improves over the years. I feel sure that he will use his passion for photography in ministry as well.
Hope every one's having a good week so far. I can't believe it's already Wednesday! It's prayer meeting night at our church and that gives me the strength and energy to make it to the end of the week :)
